HopRefID (FIX tag 630)
HopRefID (tag 630) is a SeqNum field defined in FIX 4.4. It belongs to the session envelope: every FIX 4.4 message carries it, so it identifies the session rather than describing the business event.

What the specification says
Reference identifier assigned by HopCompID (628) associated with the message sent. It is recommended that this value be the MsgSeqNum (34) of the message sent by the third party. Applicable when messages are communicated/re-distributed via third parties which function as service bureaus or "hubs". Only applicable if OnBehalfOfCompID(115) is being used.

Shown with | separators for readability. On the wire FIX uses SOH (0x01), an invisible control byte — and because BodyLength and CheckSum are computed over the actual bytes, the two forms have different checksums. Both are valid and both decode here.

Wire format
A positive sequence number. Session-level, and monotonic within a session. @boarteam/fix parses the value as a number and reports parse/invalid-int when it does not lex as one; the raw string is kept either way.
